That is a weird general error. Did this persist on the forums? Has it happened more than once?

Ya know, I had an error as well. Which lasted about 4 hours. I know Fowler also got it at the same time as me, but it appeared to be a server failure error. Maybe this is a thrillic of the same deal?

It could have something to do with the server change, that's just my guess anyways.

Yep, I was moving the mySQL database from the old server to the new one.

Some reason when i came back to the fourms during that server change, the fourms looked like a scratched fourm, now i am mad because i thought i was the second registered user.
