I cannot download on mega, as it stays on 12% loaded, and nothing happens. can someone post a download link to 0.8.2 on this post via dropbox or mediafire or something safe?

How come nobody notices the Softpedia link?

Because softpedia is obviously another malaware sit. mediafire and dropbox are the only safe ones I know of.

Softpedia's SCP Download also contains nothing malicious. As for the Mega.Co.Nz download, it works fine for me. But if your Browser is outdated or simply not supported then you won't have any other choice but to use Softpedia.

It's not the download, but the website is known to distribute adware in it's own installers and download tools. The kind of adware where it says "Press Cancel to install [adware]" and people click cancel thinking it CANCELS the install. I understand SCP-Sean's reluctance to trust softpedia.

I did somehow manage to get the full version of Duke Nukem 3D From it for free. I wasn't even trying to pirate it!

Duke Nukem 3D is mostly Shareware these days, so don't worry about it

but.. all evidence says you still have to buy it...
