The Recursive Room

Did anybody else find it?
I won't give any exact details but funny things happen if you enter too many iterations. The fucker also took my keycard.
I find that it could definitely be expanded further in, it was a interesting little SCP for a while until nothing more happened after looping for some time. Although, the SCP article itself is pretty small so it must have been one of the reasons it was so limited.

Gave this guy a run through, nothing much really happened except for the items on the shelves changing in the first couple of iterations and a dead body appearing by one of the doors further in.
It is a pretty neat addition though.
Edit: Someone did swap out my document.

Keep going in, you'll be terribly confused 3 minutes later.

Perhaps people could post more mindfuck-ish moments for this place. There's only a few, like blood pooling on the ceiling, and
![[DATA EXPUNGED] :EXPUNGED:](./images/smilies/90vU5WJ.png)
, but I think there could be a lot more done. Remember the sanity mechanic in Amnesia? That's gotta be how this would work ideally, some subtle and vague changes that freaks you out.
For events, I could imagine cracks appearing in the ground with a huge boom, or maybe the wall textures change to that of the office ones. It'd be nice if the geometry of the room sometimes distorted, rather than just new entities appearing inside. Maybe unique ambience sounds as well.

This isn't very subtle but what if the room turned upside down after awhile, like if you were walking on the ceiling?, it would only happen once.

THIS.
And yeah, found that in first ten minutes. At first I though it was just corridors joining together, until I saw items repeating inside... But It's buggy and can sometimes teleport you to sides when you leave.

I wanted to try to record a run through 970, only to realize that all my recording software is a
![[DATA EXPUNGED] :EXPUNGED:](./images/smilies/90vU5WJ.png)
.
I like the idea of the room turning upside down, and maybe with enough iterations random changes could occur outside the room with 970 like 173 using a beta skin.
Could be cool if would 970 occurred in a different room randomly with different mapseeds, might be a mess to code though.

I went through it for about 5 minutes and it was actually kind of cool. I almost want to know how Reggie did it!
My Experience: (Note this may contain spoilers. If you want to explore 970 for yourself, don't read it. Or read it. I don't care.)
I tried to noclip to see if that was faster, but it just teleported me to the room with the shelves over and over again. Very cool actually.

It would be cool after some iterations you find a Guard standing still, just looking at you, doing absolutely nothing, just looking, and then it disappears when you go in and out again. Or you hear screams and some growlings randomly (Since the Experimentation log says a research team disappeared here) or in the blood appears hidden symbols.

I agree with the symbols and the guard. Dude, just a guard staring at you. Nothing. He'll just adjust his yaw to always face you. No voice, no firing a gun.
