Radio Suggestion

When you put a radio transmitter on Very Fine and then use it, radio begins to rapidly switch channels. Maybe after some time or after random time it will catch some Numbers station footage? Since we don't really know the purpose of it, and it sounds very creepy, it can add a new horror element to the game.

Edited your post so the YT link would show up properly. On your idea, well, there actually is a purpose to the very fine radio, the beeps it plays are actually a morse code of sorts, that will usually give you the code to Dr. Maynard's office. However, I think there should be some more creepy stuff with the radio, like the one radio file that has the creepy breathing. The example you provided was very interesting, I think a really cool way to do it otherwise would for it to send messages would be an SSTV track that would decode into an interesting image of 079. (perhaps this one:)

If you don't know anything about SSTV transmissions or how they work, take a look at this ARG for Portal preceding the announcement of Portal 2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DlIvnc-AZJQ

I think there could be a chance the radio randomly picks up channels in specific rooms. It would be good to use existing radio broadcasts that are creepy like the example you provided. I tend to find numbers stations the most disturbing or this one here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-2EKWgTNEYU and also this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TgF9ZlI_R-8

Yeah, that definitely sounds like a creepy idea

I also stated an idea before that someone tries to communicate with you through the radio. Whether or not this someone is a survivor or an intelligent SCP is the question; either way, I don't feel the radio is utilized as much as it should be for a major in-game item.

I would see this in the radio receiver, when you put it in SCP-914 on Rough setting.

...Except that the radio would be completely destroyed when you put it on the Rough setting.

Actually, we can probably use a Numbers Station and have somebody paste an edited audio so that when a player enters a certain room in the game, the audio will play depending on his distance from the room.

The audio itself should be the Numbers Station with someone's audio pasted on top of it with phonetics for letters which can represent numbers. For example:

"Hotel... Delta... Foxtrot... Echo..."

Followed by a long pause. This means 8-4-6-5. This could be a code to enter Dr. Gears office, but it doesn't exist. Just an idea.
