As of late school and work have been getting to the better of me lately, often to the point where I'm getting sick due to the stress. Due to this I'm going to be leaving this forum for the most part, though I may be inclined to respond to PMs occasionally. Given that the Console Revamp and SCP 860 projects have been dead for at least a month, I'm going to quit working on them. (I might release my current source if you ask nicely) I'm going to keep working on the Multi-player Mod at least until a beta release is finished, so if you have any questions about modding this game I'd recommend that you ask me before I finish that. Given that this is probably the only time I'm going to be able to do this, I'll leave a few problems I have with the forums as they are now.

1. Ponies: If you like the show, good for you; but that doesn't make you any different from the other fandoms that spiral out of control once they obtain decent numbers. Given the number of users here that have a strong opinion about the show, one comment about ponies almost IMMEDIATELY causes a thread derail. Again, I don't have a problem with people who like the show but for fucks sake; any reference to it outside pony related threads, whether it be raves or rants, is completely irrelevant to whatever discussion was pre-established.

2. The Bug Reports Forum: I honestly thought that administrator intervention would save this and to be fair, it somewhat did. Unfortunately, it didn't take very long for it to revert back to most of the post being in one topic and the lack of half-decent reports.(The first ones were pretty good, I'll admit that) I think it's obvious that there aren't that many coders on this forum, couple that with the fact that most of them have their own projects to work on. I cannot stress how fucking annoying it is to not get a response to questions about someone's bug report after spending a few hours finding out what their problem was. If I'm already taking time out of my day to attempt to fix your problem, at least give me the common decency to TRY and figure out what it is, rather than giving me a "This should have been fixed ages ago" after posting me a 10 word explanation of the bug as if you weren't expecting an indie game STILL IN DEVELOPMENT to have some issues.

3. Drama: I know I shouldn't be surprised to see this kind of shit on an internet forum, but come on. Grow up and perhaps you'll realize how much time you waste doing this. I don't think anything really needs to be said about this as most, if not all of you, should know better.

1. Everywhere else is already taken over by now (seriously, i havent had a single google images search without a pony popping up in the first 20 images) it was inevitable it would take over here too. Maybe in five years theres some other craze that sweeps the internet.

2. I never posted there due to not finding any unique bug worth posting about, so i dont know about the quality of those threads.

1. Every fandom have those people that get mad for the slightest thing made towards their fandom, don't single out bronies as the only ones to do so.

I agree with you on that part, people need to go deeper into detail about what the bug is and not post something like "AWMG dis 106 is noclipping maaaaan, fix this bug" but rather post something like "I found a bug in the maintenace tunnels that make you fall through the floor in the machine room. Ill try to recreate it to get a debug hud screenshot so you can see what could be wrong --image--"

Anime and Otaku's should take over the forums (Just kidding) Anyway there are other problems beside those that are listed that I would rather not mention as to cause further drama, I am just hinting that there is though.

I want to remind people, that you don't have to make a whole thread about you leaving. The only thing you have to do is...leave. Simple as that, don't make a whole mess out of it.

We are not trying to trick anyone. This is the truth and people should know it before joining. Why would we want people to join saying that the forums i sperfect and stuff, and then they find out all the problems it has? This forum is for talking about the game and other things, we are not trying to raise an army.

We are not "professional". We are just random people who are members of a forum that discusses games and random stuff. We do not need to be professional, we just need to behave like normal people. So yeah, if we want to post a complaint about the forums, we can, so it can be noted, and possibly fixed.

We've been here much longer than you. Please, don't tell us what to do.
