Hey, all.
Just feel free to post your favorite films and books.
I will start:
Films:
Transformers 1, 2 and 3 -These are great films, I recommend to watch this if you like Transformers.
Saw franchise - This is my most favorite film franchise, it is very good and brutally made franchise.
Prometheus - I would say this film was very fantastically made in science fiction genre.
Books:
Call of Cthulhu - This book was very interesting and aspiring. The writer of this book is Howard Philipps Lovecraft, which was a very talented horror genre writer back in time.
Harry Potter books - They are still good books, written by J. K. Rouling. I recommend this to those who like mystical magic and spells.
Angels and Demons, Da Vinci Code - These two books are great., written by Dan Brown.

Oh man, lord of the flies. It was such a nice book. One of my favorites.
As favorite movie i'm not sure, but i did like movies like The Klass (or was it The class? Either way it was made in 2007) or Dogtooth, or some sort of mini-movie which name i forgot. They were quite good.
As books it would be Lord of the Flies or stuff like The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote de La Mancha. Old stuff.

Oh wow, that actually brings back a lot of memories, just thinking about it. I must've watched that about a couple dozen times as a kid.
As for my favorite films, I'd definitely say Spirited Away, and most Miyazaki films would probably make my list, including My Neighbor Totoro, and Princess Mononoke. Also, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World and Hot Fuzz by the brilliant Edgar Wright also deserve a mention.
As for books, Neil Gaiman's The Graveyard Book and Coraline (which I also enjoyed the movie of) were both equally wonderful. Some others would probably be Of Mice and Men, Fahrenheit 451 and 20,000 Leagues under the Sea (which I have yet to finish).

Oh Jesus, this question. For the sake of not cluttering the thread, I'll limit myself to 5 each.
Movies: Pulp Fiction, Lord Of The Rings, District 9, Dark Knight Rises, Black Hawk Down, (i lied about 5

) Predator, Aliens, The Hurt Locker, and Gladiator.
Books: Fahrenheit 451, 1984, Song of Ice and Fire series (or Game Of Thrones), anything by Dean Koontz, and Enders Game. Honorable mention to Star Ship Troopers
Side note: Saw WWZ and Man of Steel... DAMN fine films. And yes I've read WWZ, and yes I still love the film.
