Alright so it is come to my attention the forum spambots according to my sources some of these forum spambots can leave nasty viruses on the threads they create, please from now on be more careful about clicking on any links or suspicious spambot looking threads, just thought i'd inform you since i've now heard these bots use a virus injector on the threads.

Yeah, it's a given, don't pay mind to any suspiciously off-topic ads or threads, just report it and leave, and despite the curious urge, do not click any links.
I've noticed a pretty steady influx of the spambots, there weren't as many on the old forum, don't know what change brought this. But as a moderator, me and the others have been trying to do our best with these guys, hopefully you won't see too much of them.

Why can't they leave the forum alone...?

Some people take pleasure in making other people unhappy and don't care about what they do to justify their purpose.

Not even that, they're just automated advertising bots. They don't ''target'' forums for specific reasons.
By the way, the change from the old forum to the new's one Forum software caused this. phpBB forums usually get this kind of stuff once in a while.

Well I've formulated an Idea called "Bot Patrol" but I doubt anyone will be getting it, basically it's a group of people who help keep the forums clean, they can only delete posts and delete threads, nothing more and they are not to delete any other threads but bot threads (Or spam threads)

Yeah but I've come up with a substitute if you don't want people to have that kind of power, splitting posts and moving threads permission only but this will require another forum where members cannot post it will be called "Forum Trash"
