I was thinking that, perhaps when you open a door, you would be in a normal hallway, 4 or 5 MTF units would be behind cover exchanging fire with Insurgents. 4 to 5 seconds later, they would use the bell of entropy, crushing the MTF's and blocking your way, and you would have to use one of two doors that had been to both sides of you when you walked in.
I think it would be a nice event, if a bit FPS using. You could just make the Chaos Insurgency have the same armor as the MTF's, except they would have a black and red color scheme (Red visor, black armor.)
It would give you a moment of adrenaline, thinking "Hey, I'm with the good guys!", see them get crushed, and then you feel even more isolated than before.
Re: Chaos Insurgency/MTF Firefight
#2I always wanted a firefight cutscene.

Re: Chaos Insurgency/MTF Firefight
#3Well, to be honest, I'd rather like seeing them get cut off, like having the walls closed between them. Because there's so little MTF units, that having 5 of them die would mean there'd only be 4 left in the entire facility, which would also result in inconsistency errors. I think that having this all take place above a standard hallway, maybe on another catwalk, so you can see everything from above and both factions part ways after the encounter.whathopercy wrote:I was thinking that, perhaps when you open a door, you would be in a normal hallway, 4 or 5 MTF units would be behind cover exchanging fire with Insurgents. 4 to 5 seconds later, they would use the bell of entropy, crushing the MTF's and blocking your way, and you would have to use one of two doors that had been to both sides of you when you walked in.

#4Yay! My catwalk idea! They should be guards though, If MTFs getting killed is non canon.
